fest-appen.dk is committed to making its website as accessible as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

Regulatory status

fest-appen.dk is a sole proprietorship with fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover below EUR 2 million. It qualifies as a microenterprise under EU law and is therefore exempt from the mandatory requirements of Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and its Danish implementing legislation. This statement is published voluntarily.

What works well

All navigation landmarks are correctly marked up (header, main, nav, footer).
A skip-to-content link is available on all marketing pages (visible on keyboard focus).
All meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images use alt="".
Interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) are keyboard-focusable.
Form fields have associated visible labels or aria-label.
Colour contrast on body text meets WCAG AA (≥ 4.5:1).
The site respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
Language is declared on every page (lang attribute).

Known limitations

Some interactive components in the guest event view (photo upload, guestbook) have not been formally audited for full screen-reader compatibility.
The TV display mode is designed for projection and is not intended to be screen-reader accessible.
PDF generation in the print kit relies on the browser's native print dialogue, which may not be fully accessible to all assistive technologies.
